Snow and Rose by Emily Winfield Martin was so beautifully written and illustrated. Sometimes I would just gaze at the drawings for five minutes, thinking how did she do that? I think the plot was a nice twist on the short story “Snow-white and Rose-red”. The characters are so amazingly crafted in this version and I simply couldn’t
stop reading. (I accidentally almost skipped breakfast while reading this book. I think I’ve reached a new level here.) I would highly recommend this story to people who like fantasy, happy endings, twists and turns, magical creatures, a hint of mystery, and loving sisters.
