The House of The Scorpion by Nancy Farmer is one of those books that you just can’t put down. I was hanging on the edge of my seat for almost every moment of reading. It’s about a boy named Matt, who turns out to be the clone of a vicious

dictator. He thought the dictator–who was named El Patrón–might have loved him. After all, Matt was educated, cared for, and had a relatively happy life (and even a crush on a girl named Maria) for years. One day, however, is when Matt found out the truth.
