Grammar

You don’t put the comma for emphasis
It’s a pause in a sentence so there’s no breathlessness
And you don’t need three dots in a row
Every time your sentence ends–it’s just not so

And you can’t start your sentences with “but” or “and”
Unless you’re writing a poem that’s highly planned
Don’t forget about italics either
You don’t use them for quotations or for taking a breather

Grammar’s something that you use every day
It’s not for just for English class, so make way
The grammar police are coming through
So make sure they just don’t come for you
