Book Review: Joplin, Wishing

EC6D5540-163F-40DC-A09C-7C780AE91F4EJoplin, Wishing by Diane Stanley is a beautifully written novel that combines a twelve-year-old genie, a typewriter, a Dutch platter, and a fantastic plot line with loveable characters. It all starts out when Joplin’s grandfather, Martin J. Camrath, passes a way. He was an extraordinary author, but after Joplin’s mother comes back from her old house to gather up her things, she is in a state of depression. Joplin herself takes an antique but broken Dutch platter . . . the next morning, she sees the very same girl she saw on the platter outside her home!

If you enjoy an adventure of friendship, magic, and resolution, then this is your book.
