Book Review: Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library

This is a very playfulimage book. If you get a modern-day Willy Wonka and make him a librarian, game creator, and gazillionaire, you’d end up with Mr. Lemoncello. That’s what made this book so fun. It starts off where some seventh graders’ extra credit essays are chosen. The winners get to go to the grand opening of the new library- a library lock-in. They are the only ones there. When they find out Mr. Lemoncello was the one who opened it, things start to get more interesting. The whole thing was a huge puzzle and the winner gets a lot more than just a “good job”…
